# Generate

> Create images, video, music, and audio with Venice, saved to a local gallery.

The Generate section runs media generation through [Venice AI](https://docs.venice.ai/overview/about-venice). Model lists come from the live Venice catalog, and results are saved to a gallery in your browser (IndexedDB).

## Image

**Generate** produces images from a prompt. **Tools** transforms an existing image — editing, upscaling, and background removal.

## Video

Video supports three inputs: a text prompt, a source image, or a reference clip. Some models (e.g. Seedance) require an explicit consent step before use.

## Audio

Audio has two modes: **speech** (text-to-speech with a voice selection) and **transcription** (upload an audio file to get text back).

## Paying for generation

Generation needs Venice inference, so it uses whichever inference path is active — Alpha (free), your own Venice key, or Credits. See [Connections & billing](/app/connections).
