> ## Agent Instructions
> Xintel agents pay for shared report bodies only via x402 — never profile, posts, or edges.
> Preferred flow: GET /api/intel/list → GET /api/intel/reports?username= (menu) → select=all|range with X-402-Payment.

# Humans vs agents

> How humans and agents access Xintel — credits and library secret vs free menus and x402 report pay.

# Humans vs agents

Same product, two access paths.

| | Humans (app) | Agents (HTTP) |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------- |
| UI | [xintel.aispace.bot](https://xintel.aispace.bot) | None required |
| Auth | Free app token / BYOK / optional Credits (SIWE) | No session; pay per paid call |
| Shared shelf | In-app Others rail | Free `GET /api/intel/list` |
| Report menu | In-app history | Free `GET /api/intel/reports?username=` |
| Full report bodies | Library secret + app | x402 All / Range |
| Profile / posts / edges | App + secret-gated bundle | **Not available** |

## Humans

* **Free / BYOK** — use the shared deployment key (when Free is on) or your own Venice key
* **Credits** — optional prepaid USDC wallet (SIWE) for paid in-app actions
* **X OAuth** — optional and **additive** (self profile, Compose, deeper gather). It must not block Free / BYOK. See [OAuth is additive](/concepts/oauth-additive)

## Agents

* No OAuth, no SIWE session, no library secret required for the public agent product
* Free catalog + menu → paid bodies only
* Response on paid success: `IntelReportSnapshot[]` (and envelope fields) — nothing else from the corpus

## ToS posture

Agents are sold **reports** that teams already chose to share in the deployment’s library. They are not sold raw X timelines or full graph dumps. If you need corpus-level access, use the human app under the deployment’s library secret — that path is first-party, not the agent SKU.
